Shelly is the Executive Director of Emergency Management and Biopreparedness, Director for the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC) and holds many other roles.

We chat about her time working in the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit and National Quarantine Unit as well as her travels, both close to home and on a global scale, to train healthcare providers on the safest way to operate during an infectious disease outbreak.
